Just about finished up with another 5.3/4l60e into a FJ62 we did this one in just about 2 weeks (8 full shop days). Going to make a few more parts so they can be even faster. Inching closer to full 100% swap kit.

Center lock and alarm, feels weird being able to open swing door with out having to use the key.

Fixed turn signal light, cables behind the left rear lights had heavy corrosion. Stop lights and turn signal fixed.

Installed a 3 point not retractable lap and shoulder seatbelt kit for my 60 series.....
Easy to install (used existing threaded holes) and better than expected ( practical )

Those door cards look cool. Did you cut down your origins? Is this a 60 or 62? If a 60 did you mod your seat for the head rests? Or swap out the seat with a 62?

Yes I cut the OG ones
It is a 60.
I did swap the back seat for that of a 62.
A cool MUD fella ( all are so freaking cool) did this for me....!!!

Fixed the three cracks in my dash bezel, all three mounting points along bottom were cracked. Used some epoxy to put back together. Sanded it down and repainted with paint I already had got it all put back together. It’s far from perfect but cost me nothing but time. A bonus to doing this, ever since I have owned this 60 , I could never get the defrost slider to move all the way to the left, it would sit just past half way. I always assumed it was going to be a big job to fix. But turns out that it was just a relay from the heated seat wiring had moved and was in the way, one zip tie later all fixed.

Old school sand mates, small drilling and got them fitted.

Major major upgrade to the brake system, replaced the 60 servo with 80's one.
I can't stress enough but if you can do this, do it asap such a huge difference not just braking but overall comfort and confidence.

I kept the old master cylinder to avoid having to bleed and to make sure the issue was indeed the servo.

Thumbs up Toyota for making awesome rigs that can be upgraded

Where did you source that tire carrier? Thanks.
Lots of brands around in Amazon USA. I got it from Amazon Dubai and a friend traveling back to Egypt got it with him.
