Last weekend we took the ol 62 down to Goblin Valley for Halloween. Did a couple of hikes, and drove the trail out around Temple Mountain.

A beautiful camping set-up/62 and a lovely setting. Looks like you had a wonderful time.

Nothing like having a wolf guarding your 60
When I go into the store he climbs into the driver’s seat to keep people away. As soon as he sees me he climbs in the back. I never taught him to do this. He just took it upon himself.

That's a fine dog for sure.

We've got a couple of dogs. Since I've finished the interior restoration of my 62, I haven't let my St. Bernard in it. He's a drool machine. I need to get over it, and take him for a ride ;)

I stopped trying to keep the hair out. I think I would feel weird if it wasn’t there at this point. It’s part of the patina.

Completed the black door handle upgrade

been thinking of getting a rooftop tent...how accessible/comfortabel for old fat guys? Thanks!
The style that we have, is very comfortable, and has plenty of room; admittedly, it is an absolute pain to set up. The "wedge" style, or even the fiberglass "pop-up" tents are miles ahead as far as ease of deployment. Our budget turned us towards these older style canvas tents, and I have really enjoyed it! We've had it for about 3 years. It takes quite a few laps around the Cruiser to set up though lol.

Not from this weekend, I'm a bit slow to actually do anything with my photos due to homework. These are from S Rockies over the summer, BEAUTIFUL scenery, though I was a bit stunned by the quantity of people even when we got into what I felt were pretty remote hidey places. In any case, the good stuff!

On the way up to Imogene Pass

Fire restrictions were in place, so to hide from wind and rain we had to put up all the side's, something we had never done before...

Finally got all of my new bits and pieces primed and sorted. If all goes as planned, my truck is going to my welder in two weeks. Then time for a full new paint job. Oh Boy!

Installed a new driver’s side rear bumper end cap. The original had some damage and the fasteners were completely corroded in place.

Removed the driver’s side windshield wiper arm (corroded) and replaced it with a new wiper arm assembly and blade.

Removed and replaced the PCV and rock hard grommet.
