Is this the plastic piece that lines the wheel well? If you have any good documents or videos with all the hardware this needs besides the fuzzy partsouq images, please send it to me. Mine were missing when I bought it.Did a handful of things this past weekend.
- replaced PS front fender liner
- installed missing inner splash guards
- went through what felt like an entire tube of grease lubing the six zerk fittings on the front and rear driveshafts. Thanks PO!
- installed SAIS bypass
It is and I don't. All of my hardware was still in place so I just reused most except for a couple clips that can be had from your local parts store. There's about 5 plastic body clips scattered throughout the liner that attach it to the inner tub and there are 6 or so torx screws that attach the liner to the fender skin from underneath. How hard was it to stuff those tires in? I have 35 Kendas and I've been pondering going to the 37.
Do you plan to go back to smooth rotors in the future on your daily?Throwing in my 2 cents about rotors from my endurance racing experience and having a set of drilled/slotted on my daily.
1 Endurance racers use smooth calipers, if its good enough for them its probably good enough for you.
2 the vibration when braking caused by the slots and the noise caused by the drill holes completely spoils an otherwise smooth driving car.
3 those slots shave the pad which can be nice for consistency if the pads are so hot the surface is getting melty but it reduces the pad longevity to probably 40% what it would be on smooth rotors
