Received and installed the KAON rear shelf for the 120 Prado.Fits the GX470 perfectly.
Shipping from OZ was very fast.
Installation was a breeze, and already I see it’s potential to organize and de-clutter my cargo area when packing up for a camping trip.
Even the wife approved!

Well, the GX took me to 7 states over two weeks: CA, NV, AZ, UT, WY, MT, ID! Truck ran great and ate up a lot of snowy miles. Spent a lot of time snowboarding Jackson Hole and Utah resorts. Went to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Sold my 80 series when I got home. Had plans to sell the 470 too, but decided it does so well at just about everything I'm going to hold onto it and run it long! Only thing that disappointed were my KO2s. They suck in snow/ice. Slid into a snow bank on Teton pass and slid way too much on the flat frozen Idaho roads. Oh well, had a great time!

I only had the original KO's but they were simply horrible in the snow/ice. didn't help that they were 33/12.5/15's on a 87 toyota pickup, but I slid everywhere (course I was 25 at the time and in anchorage when it snows, everything becomes a drift track... lol)
I've been very impressed with my Cooper S/T Maxx's running 285/75/17's and they've been great! I've only had a couple of slippages and I chalk that up to being at 44 PSI (trying and failing to keep the MPG's up!). up hunting though we had 18"+ and never had a problem even once everything was packed down and iced up over night. the coopers didn't care.

Yes, I've had Toyo AT-2 which were much better all around. The Toyo AT-3 came out a month after I bought the KO2s and I would have bought those if I had the opportunity. I had a set of Michellins on before and they were better than the KO2s in winter. I like the look of KO2 and they're good in the dirt, but I will not buy another set as I take this type of ski trip annually and need something better. I had a friend with me that had the Toyo KM3s, which are a AT/MT hybrid and he had no issues.

I've had several sets of Ko2's over a few different vehicles and I was always very satisfied with them. I've been hearing great things about the Toyo AT3's though.
Might have to give them a shot.

Don't get me wrong, I liked the KO's in just about everything except deep snow( 6+") and Ice... oh and sticky mud... and I've heard good things about the KO2's... just think the tread pattern doesn't led well to traction in the deep snow, or mud. I did hear it was GREATLY improved on the ice though with the 3peak rating

I went with the Coopers because I have a few friends in Colorado that have run them and LOVED them on/off road as well as in the snow. and I wanted something that was more of a hybrid MT/AT. I'm finding though, since I only live a mile from work, I'm just going to go with a true MT type tire, looking at either the Kenda Kleaver, Yokahama Geolander MT, or the Cooper MT Pro. but I have like 3K on my ST Maxx... so it'll be a while LOL

Side note, I'll be in your neighborhood end of next week. gotta drive down for a VA appointment. too bad everything is shut down or I'd buy ya a beer/burger and shoot the s*** with ya if you were up for it. I'm gonna stop by wanderlust Offroad in Clackamas, wanna talk to them about a LR Tank

Today we took a short trip into the Mark Twain National Forest to pick interesting-looking rocks out of a creek bed for a landscaping project. Also did a bit of off-roading and climbed right up a loose 40% grade without spinning a tire. The soundtrack was provided by an aFe CAI that I installed last night - really gives the 2UZ a mean growl.

It's a rubber floor mat for the back. I just cut out sections of the mat and installed the factory attachment points over the top. This way I don't have to remove the mat to use the third row or tie downs.

I had a set of the Kenda Klevers in 35x10.5 - they were great but I opted out of the 35's as they rubbed at full compression even with a major BMC, 3" lift, aggressive offset wheels and aftermarket bumper.

I went with a 285/75/17 (close to a 34") and ended up back in Ko2's.

If Kenda made a 34" I'd get those, but I'm looking had at the Toyo's for my next tire.

And I'm on the east cost until March so you didn't miss me. Next time you're down my way though, shoot me a message!

Installed all 6 of the window belt mouldings. Mine were dry rotted and likely letting water into the doors. Went with the black trim from the Prado 120. Ordered them at partsouq.com. Screenshot of part numbers below.

Not all heroes wear capes! I was looking for the two quarter glass pieces for a full set of 6. Thanks for posting part numbers. My current moldings are horrid.

I have 285/75/17 ST MAXX's. I like the tall skinny, wish more companies made them. Love the size of the BFG 34 10.5, but seems only SuperSwamper and BFG are the only ones who makes it

Snagged this take off Toyota OEM Yakima basket on CL from the owner of a brand new Heritage edition Land Cruiser. Look is pretty decent but I’ll only use it when I need to haul stuff. Will be perfect to throw on for camping trips and fleeing town during the apocalypse. Perfect fit as it straps to the factory crossbars that are identical to those found on the 200 series. Sweet!

Paid $300. May have been able to haggle down more but wanted to be first with cash in hand to pick it up and, if you can even find one, they retail for $450+ whatever yakima charges for the locks it came with.

Yesterday we traveled up to Sedona on our way to a weekend trip in Flagstaff and decided to hit the broken arrow trail in Sedona. I was so impressed with the capability of our rigs. With only a 2.5” lift and 32” tires, I was able to carefully run this entire trail with only some minor damage on the trailer electrical hookup (which I need to move). We even did the Devil’s staircase with no major bands or dings, just made the wife a little nervous. Such a fun trail! The pink keep guys didn’t seem to like a “regular” vehicle on their toughest trail, good thing it is public road. Just wanted to let everyone know that you can completely run this technical trail with very minor mods.

Picked up a 2009 Perl White with 112k on board. Got a smoking deal, too low to advertise, due to leaking AC evaporator, ripped front seat and possible cam seal leak.
Car was just painted under warranty by Lexus! Great service history,

Yesterday I replaced the leaking evaporator, big job, not for the faint of hearts! No leftover bolts, everything works after reassembly.
Today I replaced the left front seat cushion and cover with EBay bought parts, not the best fit but close.
It's all stock for now, hoping to do some mods.
I'm coming from a 3rd gen 4Runner, with 300K, still in the household.
