@greenscobie86 - since I wrote this, I talked to my brother (he owns the same year GX) and he told me his front wheel bearing made a similar sound before it failed. I will check them!

Did you ever figure this out? It could just be the system slowly getting rid of any air in the system if you didn't fully burp it when you originally added the coolant.Tried with no success to find where my coolant is going. Replaced the radiator two weeks ago and am still topping off the overflow tank every few days.
Just had mine replaced also, plus ball joints.Mine had a bad pass side front bearing that made an annoying sound, have you checked the wheel bearings on your truck? Just an idea.
