Had custom rock sliders welded on. 500$ from a local guy near Phoenix. Great work and only took a week

Did you ever figure this out? It could just be the system slowly getting rid of any air in the system if you didn't fully burp it when you originally added the coolant.
Did some boring but necessary installs this weekend:
- Apex Overland front recovery points
- Rad Rubber engine splash guards (original ones got so brittle they essentially disintegrated...found part of one inside my front bumper when I was doing the recovery point install)
- Factory tow hitch. This will be my rear recovery point, and also is rated for the full 6500 lbs towing capacity
Did my TB, WP, tstat, radiator, crank seal, hoses, belt, pulleys and tensioners. Basically everything that comes off was replaced. (Except the alternator and power steering pump as those were less than a month old).
After much deliberation and conflicting information, I removed the belt at the "T" marks because I didn't want to turn the cam on an interference engine after the valve springs caused bank 1 to rotate after the belt was removed. Turned out great and timed without any issues.
