For some reason I kinda got GMC Envoy vibes when looking at the taillights
Not literally, just GX inside joke 😉 .... The pre 08s look like envoys b/c amber top.

Got my new kicks. Nitro Ridge Grapplers in 285/70r17 Load C. Put them on TRD Sema in new Gunmetal Gloss finish. Ironman Foam Cell Pro stage 3. I did the fender liner mod up front and cut off some excess plastic at the front of the running boards preemptively. There hasn’t been any run yet which is a huge relief. It drives great. I had hoped to get the new TOYO open country AT3 but Discount Tire said they were on backorder with no delivery date.

Overal gain? Did you get closer to 3" rear or closer to 2" rear? What did you have the fronts set at (i assume you ordered pre-assembled)?

Looks great dood! 🤘

I did order preassembled. I didn’t set them. Ironman set them for me based on what I wanted for an 09 without bumpers. The fronts are adjustable but I don’t have a tool. I may consider tweaking the front height after it settles. I ended up with about 2.5” in the rear. I wanted the truck level. The front was so sagged out before that the front seems sooo high. I’m very happy right now and feel the ride is an upgrade over stock, just slightly firmer. My measurements are from ground to fender. I am about 23" at every corner if you measure from hub to fender.

Those Nitto Ridge Grapplers look very nice with those TRD wheels in gun metal. By the way, most everyone measures center of hub to bottom of fender to eliminate differences in tire/wheel sizes and be able to compare lift heights across all our rigs. Just so that you know. Most of the measurements in other posts are center of hub to bottom of fender.

For example, the stock measurements appear to be these:
Front: 20.25"
Rear: 21"

Mine after my mods and very empty (no rear seats, no middle seats, no extra weight):
FD: 22.5
FP: 22.75"
RD: 23.625"
RP: 23.875

Do you have the specific link?

Replaced the air springs and was disappointed that the new bags didn't provide much of any improvement in ride quality. Job was pretty easy, and taking the entire line out with the bag was the right choice as the connectors at the top of the bags was pretty corroded.

I got them from auto parts world. I bought the last pair, but they are still selling them individually. I’m sure the pairs will come up again soon

Added a Blue Sea Fuse Box and winch cutoff switch. I think I went a bit overkill with the wire loom. 😄 I will reroute the wires in a cleaner fashion.

Added Weathertech mats to replace the faux leather diamond cut mats that came in the car. YUCK! Oh, and I replaced both front axles.

Already trashed the faux leather mats that revealed dirty OEM mats below.

Weathertech mats are the best. Have them for the 80, need to pick them up for the 470.

Anyone recommend family friendly plugin coolers for the trunk? Never had a car with a rear outlet before.

Going to replace my mirror actuators which have both failed. Will be following this guide:

Last pieces of chrome blacked out with Plastidip, probably went a bit overboard on the taping up but I'm a bit OCD and wanted to eliminate any overspray. Will probably pull the license plate rear lamp cover when I have the inside rear door trim off and paint it body color, but it's good for now:
