I just bought a 1993 Maroon Land Cruiser. I ordered up 35" tires, OME lift, and an ARB front bumper. I'm going to get the wheels powder coated before I put the tires on, so what color should I go with?

I had gloss black on my last Cruiser and it looked good I thought. I thought black might match the new arb bumper too. However, I do like the light silver they are now. I even thought about a dark gold that's almost black. I dont know, any suggestions, comments, ideas? Thanks!

Id wear khaki tomorrow :D

But dark gray looks great on the red. Something close to VHT graphite wheel paint. Or just use the paint. Might as well do the ARB too

Pandathrust used a lighter gray but it's hot.

I like the 60% gloss black powder coat Slee uses. Full gloss is to flossy for me, and I actually the dark gray, graphite, gunmetal colors in about halfway between gloss and matte. That's why Slee's 60% works for me. If they could have done my bumper in gray I would have ordered it that way, but they only sell them in black.
Whatever color you get will look great, you're not considering yellow or anything truly ugly. Make a call, you'll love it.

Doesn't really matter what color. They are suppose to be covered in dirt anyhow.

I did Galaxy Grey III and have been really happy with it, but my Cruiser is white, and I'm not sure it would look as good with burgundy.
Maybe a burnt bronze or something earth tone?

Hot pink!
White!
Gunmetal is cool, but for stock wheels I like the brushed stock look.

My 80 has 4 chrome rims, but the spare is the stock brushed style. I like it the best.

Unless you our your good buddy who happens to work at a tire shop are going to do all or your mounting & balancing with kid gloves, my recommendation is to pick a color that is readily available in a spray can. Chipped paint doesn't peel like powder coat, plus touch-ups will be fast, easy, & DIY.

Dark Bronze (like dark gold, almost black) but Bronze

Bronze or factory aluminum

Unless you want a different color.
