The owners a rapid in their brand loyalty and you have to replace them twice as often as you do a GMC.

Might be frowned upon by some, but at least it is not hidden nor forgotten, being visible might serve as a deterrent or in the case of a traffic stop at least it is obviously displayed and your hands can be very obviously not near it................just athought. My advice is worth less than you pay for it....being free.....................
...this is pretty much exactly what I want to do. I have the gauge panel, I've been debating what gauges to use and that being the easy part - I wonder - what sending units are you using? Volts is easy but water temp/oil? What did you use?![]()
Autometer gauges come with senders. You just have to get a brass fitting that will thread into the hole you intend to use for installation to the block.
I need to order some of the angled cups for these so I can see them a little more directly from the driver's seat. Post up some pics of what you come up with when you get your gauges mounted.

I'd just put a Amazon.com: Metra 88-00-9000 Single DIN Pocket Radio Installation Kit For Select 1982-2004 Ford/Mazda/Nissan/Toyota/Volvo Vehicles: Electronicsin there. It's nice to have a place to store sun-glasses and a cell phone.
