In that case I'd get a stock inclinometer, which is a bolt in into the small storage pocket underneath.

do you think i could put a stock inclinometer into the radio space instead?

I'd like to keep the pocket.....or i guess i could make the radio space a pocket..

I can measure in the evening, but I think the inclinometer is a little higher and a little less wide than the radio.
I'll let you know.

A set of engine gauges are a lot more useful than an inclinometer. When I get a wheel or two up in the air, I'm looking at everything EXCEPT the dash...

If you do a pocket post pics.. I like to have one on in there...
Mine has a big hole.. with some wires sticking out..
its a theft deterrent dont yah know !!

OEM radio. My theory is that tweakers will laugh and walk on by. My Jensen heavy duty is in the tuffy, and I kept my OEM in that spot.

That's what my PO did except the radio is in the glove box.

Cool I think I'll try it.

BTW if you put an inverter make sure it gets enough space to keep cool or it will trip and not work any more..
I installed mine in the glove box compartment and ran it with the door open but it kept over heating.
I have it under the dash now with a remote 3 prong female plug on the dash board for a clean look...

It's custom. I made the plate to size and shape of the dash opening, and Ron, of Custom Cruisers, milled the gauge holes to the 2-1/16" bore of the gauges. Ron surprised me with the finish. I think he used a rotary wire brush on the bare aluminum plate to give it that look. I originally wanted to make some side brackets for the dash opening so I could fasten the plate in place, but it's a tight fit so I just lightly push it in there. I want to get some of the Autometer angled cups, though, because I can't look at the gauges straight on.
