Anyone on here done any milling of logs?

Just took down a huge ash tree in my front yard where the top 1/3 was dead and had started dropping some big branches. I had them leave all of the 18-24" diameter pieces. I have 7 8ft sections to be milled. The wife wants to use some of the wood to make something for the house. I may have found a guy locally but I'll talk to you this weekend

I’ll give that thread a read through and see what’s up. Appreciate the look out.

Rob, everything looks fantastic! Are you highlighting the grass or the truck? Both are quite impressive. On another note, I'm curious why your grass is so lush and green while mine remains brown.

Regrettably, my son has borrowed my truck for military duty in Florida for the next seven months, so he'll be responsible for any updates regarding it. It seems he's getting quite comfortable with it!

I apologize for my recent inactivity; I've been swamped with work this summer. We're short one person in my three-person shop, which has made this season particularly challenging. These are some these are some thing he has done so far .

Well, I do not water the grass! I do have some brown spots by the tree line but the rest is ok but not that lush. I cut it for the first time in two weeks. Good tunes are a must in any vehicle. I understand the work thing.
