Hi All,

I'm shopping for a stock FJ60 in fair condition with very little rust and up to 250k miles.

What do you guys think the price range is nowadays?

a. 5,000.00-7,000
b. 7,000-10,000
c. 10,000-15,000
d. 15,000-20,000
e. 20,000-25,000

Your help is appreciated.

Have a great weekend!

$7000, to $29,000. The 29K FJ60s have excellent paint & body integrity & very nice interiors with insignificant rust. Engine not necessarily rebuilt but under 220,000 miles on odo. A 29K 60 is usually a head turner.
A $7K cruiser will require some work and anything goes. It'll look like an old used cruiser

Define "fair'? But based on my interpretation of fair, I say A&B.
I guess fair condition would be no real serious issues i.e. swapped motor, backyard wiring, mickey mouse crap...

$8k to $15k should open the door to what to expect in the market for a stock truck if you can find one.

I sold a super clean 1985 beige one 2 years
ago for 9800.00. worst decision I've made.
Now I see price for same condition in the mid to high teens. Have they really appreciated several grand in two years?
Whats the deal here?

Just the nostalgia bug I would guess. Some see them as collectors items nowadays and somewhat rare to find not all rusted out. Collectors item status means more money. The idea that a clean one without significant rust is a unicorn prolly drives the prices all over the place.

Just for comparison, I gave $11K for a stock '84 with 170K on the clock and no rust 2 and half years ago. Normally would not have paid that much but the PO had done some significant work on it which would have cost me a bundle had it been left for me to do, so I went for it.

That looks like a real clean on!

Buddy just picked up a zero rust - 1983 with 270k for $8700.
I got Bleu for $15k - 167k again no rust - new paint. So much of this is assessed value by the buyer. It’s worth what you think it’s worth.

Thanks bro. Looks like prices are North of 10-15 plus in most cases. Can you post some pics of your rigs?

This makes me feel better. I could probably get over $10k for mine (double what I paid) when I fix it up which helps offset all the work I've put into it. But I have no plans to sell it. This is unlike the 4runner I bought for $2000 but have probably sunk over $6000 into it to get it back on the road. But I could probably only get $6-7k for it which means I worked for a month for free. So I'm definitely not selling that one either... but it was a good experience bringing it back to life.

Im glad to see they are holding their value so well. As soon as I find and buy the right one, I’m never selling it too. This search is getting difficult. I hope I can land one soon!

Wow! That one clean 60. Whats the address of the LandCruiser Shop?
It’s in my neighborhood...
