I know that this thread is focused on the cab, but there was a set of bows and canvas made for the rear of the SWB 45 pick-up. There is a picture of this set-up in a book called "Land Cruiser Gold Folio" or "Gold Portfolio" or something like that. If someone has this book(I have not seen mine in years), please locate and upload this pic. It may be a one-off set-up, as I think the vehicle was being used as a marketing rig. More likely (and as usual) this was destined for somewhere other than the US market.
looked through all three of my copies (old one before it was gold portfolio, but still published by brookstone, and two copies black cover with white late model 40 on cover and listed as gold portfolio), none of them showed a 45 pickup with a softtop.
In the "Gold Portfolio" book, the canvas over the bed has the "Toyota Land Cruiser' script on it. Look again when you get the chance.
As far as I know, there were soft top 45s made like the one in the picture above. I have seen one here in Pakistan but could not have a closer look to confirm if it was OEM or locally manufactured.AFAIK not fj45 (pick-up) top in any market past like 62-63?
and the tops weren't a full top anyway it was a canvas back flap...special order...see pic
