Wear to rear differential pinion Flange

Hi,

Is the wear on this rear diff flange going to just ruin the new seal.... is it just past it's best!!

is it worth smoothing it out on a lath or should I just get a new one?

It's from a BJ46 Rear Axle 1981 Semi-floating...

Speedi-sleeve it. That will give you a smooth sealing surface again.

Even though this isn't a Toyota the repair process is the same.

Maybe the ecoseal from marlin crawler or trailgear could work too for smaller wear

Those are nice seals and would likely have done the trick.
