I can use a long length of tube for my front bumper build, Can you get by with less Rob. I still have some stuff at John's that can maybe get your needs met?

I'll be bringing some steel stuff and also some food stuff and drink stuff.

Still no paint on the 45 w/s frame and doors. I was hoping to bring the truck to put the glass in. I suspect there may be some folks who have never put glass in an old w/s and I thought it might be cool.

Stupid people and their car problems messing up my schedule.

Right this minute I'm feeling like I can't take a day off to go not work on it. I might just have to work at the shop and try to get some progress made on Saturday.

That would be very cool if you brought it by Scott's and taught some of us some old school glass tricks. I assume it is similar to some of the fixed windows on the 60 series and 40 series hardtops -- use a rope and pop it in place?

It's going to be a long day and I'm sure we can help you make some good progress on things...

My projects are pretty take it or leave it. I can always work on my stuff another time... it would be cool to see the 45.

Besides, what really is the rush? :) You have a perma-excuse to to hang out in the shop.

How much tube do you need? I have a few 6-8ft sticks (1 5/8 .120 DOM).

So far I am bringing:

-Bender/1.75x5.5 die.
-Chop saw.
-?ft of tubing.
-Bottle of something tasty.
-Some badass SWAG!
-RC car.
-A piss beer drinking machine.
-My sweet ass.

Do we need the notcher?

Also....Some people are crashing at my place (20 min from Scott). So eventually we will likely end up back at my place (unless we take over Scotts... :grinpimp:), ya'll are welcome to come drink my booze and crash at my place I have a half dozen couches a futon and a spare bed.

If you make me bend my own tube, I'll probably need 4-5 sticks of 6' each. If you bend it for me we can get away with one 6' section. I have a 10 footer for Darryl that I got from Phil. I don't need a notcher for anything I'm going to be doing.

I am also bringing some Capitan and some type of food stuffs.
Also bringing a plasma cutter and some angle grinders. Maybe a chop saw too.

Ok sounds like a plan. Ill bring a couple sticks. With every job i usually sacrifice a stick to the bending gods.

Let me know if you bring a chop saw....ill leave mine.
