Stoo you forgot the snorkle specs :D

Why did you remove the original suspension? I was at a suspension shop this week and he was telling me that the iron ore mines in WA pay him remove all the Toyota leaves and coils on new 79 series and replace them with HD Dobinsons kits because the Toyota suspension doesnt last 6 months.

I noticed youve gone back to the 75 series tailight lenses. Lost your bumper eh?:D

Cool pics:cool:,feel free to post more if you got them.

Maybe Mr Moderator can allow you to add the specs to your pic in readers rides:idea::D

Please do, Stu. Keep in mind you can edit the post where your vehicle is shown. Those kind of specs and pics are what should be added to Readers Rides. Thanks, Rosco

Also add the paddles you must obviously open the windows and use in a case like this.........

Are the wood or aluminum paddles?

The standard suspension isn't real good, the coild are not hard enough to hold up the bullbar and winch, while the leaves are way overbuilt, the two bottom leaves are flat and about 16mm thick each, crap wheel travel and they sit too low. I ripped one side of the bumber off and the other side was pretty crushed. I used a bit of spare 4" square steel tube welder to the towbar, hi-lift jack fits onto it very well and it can bash on the ground saving me some panel damage hopefully? Indicators are blacked out of 78 series so yeah I swapped for 75 series. Have copied to R / rides.
Snorkel is a factory two-piece job, standard on all models now aren't they? I used black silicone to joint the 2 parts together and also to seal the lower joint where it meets the panel.I hope it's fairly waterproof now.

Troopies are hard to find over your way then?
They seem to still sell the shortys like most of you guys have in Africa, that'd be cool. A dual-cab ute would be ever better.
