That is a pretty killer looking setup. That would have to be a massive electical load at full tilt. Looks like there would be enough force there to start damaging other hard parts.

I saw this products on the 4x4 extreme comp in Portugal!!! :steer:

Wow!
Did someone in the yellow rover get punched out?
If someone was in front of the other vehicle getting the winch cable ready, when he crashed into it. They could be dead or paralyzed.

I think I would be talking to them in a more primitive physical manner at that point...

Sir,
Your winch modification is bad ass!:cheers:

One of my mates I went out with the other weekend has a twin motor gigglepin setup with faster gearing running warn 6hp 12V motors at 24V, spent about 10K on the winch and it HAULS it barely slowed down under some serious winching load.

This is the winch in action, bit hard to see but when its in the hole on the first loop it winches all the way through the slop.

Hi All,
Thanks for your feedback. Thats the wind is also fast under maximum load a sufficient power supply is needed. Such a modification only makes sense if the electric power is adjusted. Yes the gigglepin has nearly the same construction, but our winch has a lot of differ in many details, like the position of the head - on the gigglepin it is back to the vehicle - our version goes away from the vehicle so you have not to destroy or cut the radiator grill.

10K is alot for a winch, thats true - our version costs here in europe all together and including the 8274 winch and 2 6,8HP bow motors and 2 solenoids for 5.000 Euro ( 8750 $) When you deliver a 8274 Winch we will modify the winch for round about 3000 Euro ( 5250 $) to price you have to add the shipping costs. thats all.

for get a complete setup we add a second alternator to the rigg with a digital charging / Balancing controller. The second alternator deliver up to 400 AmP an up to 60V - we adjust the controller so that you have always 13,8V on your vehicle. The alternator and the controller costs round about 600 Euro (1050$).......

In a other place/Forum a user ask me if i can modify his winch on my next holiday in USA. OK i will do that and its for free because if a europeen customer buy this modification we will do the mod for free - so we and the customer are sure for the correct function of the winch.....

Thanks, but no, I was asking about the MB twin motor top housing that Naviky posted info about...

...this housing looks like the rear motor stays in the same front/rear position compared to the standard housing, while the Gigglepin housing looks like it puts the rear motor further back towards the front of the truck.

I really don't have any room to go back towards the truck, as I don't want to start chopping into the grill, that is why I am considering a Flamin Fabrications side by side twin motor adapter on a standard housing.

I know about Gigglepin, I have been talking to them over the last couple of weeks, and am about to spend a couple of thousand dollars on 2 new motors and lots of heavy duty internal parts from them, will probably be ordering those parts tomorrow.

nice video and pretty impressive i must say!

X2 .. what comes to my mind is, must have other structural changes, improves that helps an 8K winch support more than double powa in motors ...
