My friend Was going to sell me several years ago his 8274 winch Which was only a few years old at that for an unheard of amount of $300 , however his wife passed two years ago and he’s fallen off the face of the earth. I am hesitant to contact him since he has rarely contacted his group of friends and I would hate to be the one to say hey is that winch still for sale. That would be kind of mean on my part.

Good winch I saw it today only issue is brake padding is dry rotting and brittle. Good sound when in nuetral and when pulling in.. he and I haggled on original price and it’s been sold...

I have a great brake on my Belleview to replace that one but his actually has warn 5687 8000 lbs on it and it has those numbers inscribed while mine is older and not inscribed
