Hi. I’m looking for a new project and have never owned a 60 series before but have spent some time researching them. I’m interested in seeing what’s out there with as much of the following criteria:

- Clean title
- Running and mechanically sound
- Manual 4 or 5 speed (H55)
- No major rust
- Gray interior (any exterior color)
- No major modifications
- CA smog compliant (if possible)
- Budget around $15k

(Picture for attention)

Please let me know what you’ve got. Thanks!

Good luck with your search! I'm going to be honest, it's going to be hard to find a relatively rust free 60 for $15k, I looked for a long time and almost any sub $20k FJ60 had some rust somewhere.

With a $25k budget you can get a pretty nice cruiser.

Thanks for the encouragement. My hope is to make it a driver so rust free isn't expected. I'm definitely not looking for a fully restored show car, but also don't want something that's so rusted it's falling apart and unsafe.

x2 to what yotadude said. I happen to have one that I’ll be selling in about a month and I’m asking $25k. It’s in amazing shape. Bronze with brown interior.

I'm getting ready to list my '87 cruiser for sale. I haven't finished cleaning it up but its based in Southern California (Ventura County). I've owned it since 2018 and have put probably 6,xxx miles on it since owning it. I mostly drive it around town but have lost my desire to tinker with it so it has not been driven a lot the last 15 months. It passes smog but there has been rust developing in the common areas (included one photo I had handy) . I'll continue to clean it up to take better photos but here are a couple for your reference. I think the odometer reads about 173,xxx miles.
