Bringing it to Logan's Run??

Not gonna make it this time, planning to spend the next few months doing some baseline maintenance and then adding a modest OME lift and some 315 BFG AT's before hitting the trails. That's my excuse anyway, the main reason is it in me and my fiance's anniversary weekend so I'll be in Chapel Hill - definitely gonna spend some time working on the 80 though!

I've been way to busy enjoying my new 80 and have neglected updating my thread, I apologize for the delay! I've had the cruiser for about a week and a half now, and am absolutely loving the new rig - it has turned out to be better than I could have ever hoped for. Very clean inside and out, engine bay is immaculate, been serviced at a Toyota dealership its entire life and drives like a dream. I never thought I'd end up with a locked 40th edition, still seems surreal!

I've worked on it the last 2 weekends and have got it pretty squared away for now - I've added some Yakima crossbars, Huskyliner front and rear mats, replaced the Scion head unit with a single DIN Pioneer deck (the Scion unit is for sale if anyone is interested), painted the aftermarket door speakers tan for a more factory appearance, and coated the undercarriage with an Eastwood chassis kit. My plan is to just enjoy it for a few months and then add a hitch, OME 850/860 suspension, and 315 BFG A/Ts around the holidays. I'll continue a slow expedition-style build over the next few years, no huge rush to get it done and just enjoying the process.

Thanks again for all the help and advice during the search, think I've found the perfect cruiser for me!

Thanks guys, glad I was able to find exactly what I wanted! Here's a few more pictures with my 4runner, I'll add a 40 to the fleet one of these days and have my dream garage complete!
