Here I have an 87 FJ60 I've owned for 3 and a half years. I bought it mostly stock and in very good mechanical condition. I have a huge folder of receipts from the previous owner. After purchasing it I did a SOA, built bumpers, sliders, regeared etc.

Off the top of my head here's what it has:

Suspension:
SOA done with the Ruff Stuff kit, C&T was performed
Trail Gear high steer
Greasable shackles and springs pins
Urethane bushings
Bilstein 5125 shocks, 14" front 10" rear
Usually sports a set of 35s, but currently its coming on some junk 32in rollers. But I might get some different tires if some come up.

Drivetrain:
Saginaw PS pump
Contour electric fans
Stainless battery tray
Awesome 0 gauge battery cables
4.11 FJ62 3rds
Lock Right in the rear
V6 4runner front calipers
The front axle was rebuilt when I did the SOA. I used Marlin inner seals

Body:
Entire cab is lined with sound deadening
Pioneer head unit
Pioneer front speakers with Kicker speakers in FJ62 cargo area mounts
Custom front bumper
Custom rear bumper
Custom rock sliders
IPF H4 headlights with upgraded harness
LED interior lighting
Recently replaced carpet
WagonGear door seals

Overall the 60s in great shape. Very little rust on it and no rot what so ever. I have wheeled it, so it has some dings, dents and scratches. The most noticeable being on the DS rear corner. The lift gate still functions fine though. The interior is also in good shape. Carpet is clean. The drivers seat has some wear and small tears but not nearly as bad as a lot I've seen. But it runs great, drives great. Its a real awesome truck and I have no idea why I'm making this post, but it just seems like the thing to do. :meh:

Asking $6000obo Lost my job..need money :frown: $5250

Wow that's pretty sweet! But the only things I'd be interested in are a solid axle mini truck plus $$ or a 40 plus $$. Basically I'm looking to sell this and get a more budget wheeler. I dont even keep this on the road, I just trailer it when I wheel, so I'm looking for something more beat up to beat on rather than this.

Awesome truck. i wish i could get another 60! I was just reading through the build for this the other day.
Good luck selling and hope you get a new truck soon

Thanks! I've had so much fun building and driving this truck. It'll make an awesome rig for the next owner! I'm open to offers. I'm also sure that more has been done to the truck than I remember. I'll have to look through the receipt folder and find the rest.

$7500

Found a vehicle I'd like to buy. You're getting a lot of truck for the price.

$7000obo??

I'll get some more pictures this weekend.

Bump for a sick rig. Just got into an 80, but it I were still looking...

GLWS, man.

Thanks! This will make someone an awesome double duty rig. It drives great on road and works extremely well offroad!

Interested in a trade for a 72 FJ40? It's got a SBC 350 with a 700r4 transmission. It's lifted about 3 inches with 2.5" lift springs in the rear with shackle reversal In the front and stock springs, and 6" anti inversion shackles. It sits on 33" big o X/T tires on 15" tires. FJ60 disc brake conversion in the front and the stock drums in the rear. Aftermarket in dash gauges. LED interior lighting. Tuffy security console. Twin stick t/case shifter. Stock 3 speed t/case. Rear Aussie locker. Hard top( needs rebuilding). Full roll cage. Saginaw power steering.

Wow that 40 looks awesome! I would love to have one at some point. But earlier today I bought a mini truck that I'm going to build.

If I dont get someone that wants to buy this soon I'm probably going to rob parts off it to build my mini truck and then just put stock parts back on it.

Make an offer!

Selling my 80 dec 22 and will need a rig. Would you say it be safe to drive back to Kansas? Wasn't sure how it runs down the highway. Also and leaks to speak of? Not a deal killer just curious.

The only issue I see with driving it back to Kansas is the tires its currently on are in horrible shape and I wouldnt consider them safe to drive on the street. I do have some other tires on toyota wheels that would be safe to drive on, but they're the factory size. Other than that mechanically I dont see why it wouldnt. Its already made the trip from VA to VT nonstop back when I bought it stock. I havent had it on the road in a year or so, but I have driven it on the interstate after all the suspension work with no problems. There's a slow oil leak that I believe is coming from the cam cover on the side of the block, other than that I cant think of any leaks. There may be a couple drips from the t-case and tranny, but nothing severe.
