Volunteers Needed for Carolina Relic Run

We are asking for volunteers to help out at CRR2026 again this year. We'll be doing it a bit differently this time by adding an incentive - we'd like people to commit to a task, or multiple tasks, for at least 4 hours of time in exchange for $40 off a driver registration for next year's Relic Run (2027).

We'll need people, sometimes multiples, for the following duties. Duties will be performed as needed and will not necessarily be in 4-hour blocks. Bad weather might increase the amount of people needed for some duties. We will work at updating this list as we close in on the event and start to get responses to this thread. Ryan @UJZ105 will be the event point of contact

- Vehicle Inspectors (various time blocks daily)
- Trail Leaders (in Relics and Non-Relics)
- Registration Tent helpers (various time blocks daily as needed)
- Set Up/Tear Down helpers (late Wednesday or early Thursday AND early Sunday )
- Raffle helpers (mostly Saturday after dinner)
- Trash & Cleanup helpers (entire event; manage pavilion cans daily & grounds patrol Sunday post-event)

What days/times are you short?

For example, getting there early to help with initial setup would probably be very doable for me. For others, their schedules might flex better to other needs. But understanding your needs may help get hands raised accordingly.

I've signed up for leading a Easy Run at Uwharrie however we have some family issues at the moment and my attendance is questionable. I certainly hope I can be there but wanted to let folks know in the event I don't show.

Good call. I just edited the spreadsheet with separate categories for event set-up and breakdown with times. We will not be setting up the event tent until Thursday afternoon before 5pm registration. Thank you
