This 60 went from having the usual starter click every other day to good reliable cranking.
If your battery cables are original, they are probably shot. You’ll be amazed at how well your electrical system works when your main connections off your battery are not only new but upgraded.

EPDM should last longer than the original rubber, too. So that's a considerable upgrade. I'll be ordering a cover and pigtail once you have them on the site so I can just be new all across when I replace my oil pressure sender. Want to pull off my oil cooler too so I can replace the O rings because they're leaking now as well.

A nice side benefit to the Oil Sender cover and lead -- It will keep people from trying to put the wire on the ground spade (instead of the round connector that you'll notice is isolated/insulated) and then frying the Oil Pressure Gauge....

Nice work Matt getting this made!

I want!

Hahaha, knowing this I still managed to fry my gauge accidently. I've been waiting to see if this cover would ever be reproduced, mine fell apart several years ago.
Great to know that you're getting this cover reproduced Matt. Thank you for your efforts! I'll be be buying two when available.

Thank you,

Gil
