87 days for me. I ordered mine in bare metal. For those that have received bumpers lately how accurate are the lead times? Want the rear bumper but I need it for a trip in November and if I can’t get it by then I’ll just put it off or go another route.
87 business days? I’m not opposed to running it bare metal for the trip and having it coated afterwards lol.87 days for me. I ordered mine in bare metal.
That sounds pretty good. When I called them they were talking business days so it had me a little worried87 total days…87 days
I ordered on August 8th, 2021, and received on January 6th, 2022. Ish. Was missing some parts I had to wait a few days for while they expedited them. Strike front bumper, powder coated. 103 "business" days, not counting 6 holidays. 5 months, 150 calendar days, including weekends. Welcome to our new economy... Love the bumper, though! Glad to see wait times coming down. For those that have received bumpers lately how accurate are the lead times? If you don't have time for powder coating, just rattle can it for your trip. Do minimal prep, e.g. no primer or anything, just rattle can it since it'll only be on there a few months. Nice thing about that is you can rattle can any color you want to try out, then when you powder coat, you can go with basic black or if you liked the color of your spray can job, have it powder coated in that!87 business days? Thanks for the reply, but this isn't making sense to me. They blink properly in tandem, when the hazards are engaged, so there isn't a bad connection. And they are LEDs, whereas the factory turn signals were incandescent, so I'm thinking that in tandem there is enough resistence to operate the flasher properly, but when only one is in use as a turn signal there isn't enough resistence. If your hazards are working fine, then a resistor won't help. Resistors are usually used when swapping out to LED's.
I suggest dropping the turn signals, literally, take them off the bumper and let them hang while still being wired and try all your signals again.
If they all work, then put on signal in at a time and test your signals, each one in turn. If you're having an electrical this may find it.
That's all assuming nothing has been cut or pinched during the bumper install.
you faaaaancy...I installed some resistor packs I bought years ago but never used. The turn signals still flash fast, but now the bumper LEDs are flashing, so at least I have function. I will probably look for stronger resistors to get the flash speed back to normal.
I'm surprised nobody else has encountered this problem here. Is my 2018 the newest GX to get a Strike here?
Now THAT's vendor support! On many vehicles, we have found that the hazards don't need a resistor for fast, flash while the turns do. It could be a difference in relay types or the load from 4 bulbs. Not sure.
We've had good luck with the resistors from Diode Dynamics, but there are a million options on the web:

Thanks for that, I assumed the resistors went in line, not pos to neg like that, so looks like I need to redo it.On many vehicles, we have found that the hazards don't need a resistor for fast flash while the turns do. It could be a difference in relay types or the load from 4 bulbs. Not sure.
