I use this to add grease on the knuckle square head bolt. I put approx. A bottle of 3/4 grease on each wheel.
The tools works good and easy

Could use a pastry bag too with an big open tip.

What is it called and where to buy?
I've used a ziplock bag with the corner snipped off - cheap disposable version of the pastry bag idea.
Works OK, but a bit clumsy.

99 cents store
i think they use for cake decoration stuff..
Like i said one pump all grease goes in

@John copello - thanks for this idea, I've wanted this on the rare occasions that Birf grease fill level gets attention.
This should make it a smooth easy job.

BTW, for me, the grease gun falls short as a solution, because:
  1. Would have to dedicate a grease gun to molly grease, but I have no other use for molly grease, other than Birf fill.
  2. It's hard to judge what volume you put in.
  3. Grease gun - the most hated tool in my garage.
Fights me at every step.
Looses prime just before I'm done, on my back, under the car, messy goop everywhere, every time, seems like.
It's a slippery spring loaded nightmare.
They hate me and I hate them back.

But then how do you know when you've put in enough grease? Too much and I'm sure that wouldn't be good for the seals.

Cool idea, here's my version:

Pull out the plunger, pack full of moly, wipe it off, throw into a large ziplock bag with another smaller ziplock bag that contains some nitrile gloves and keep in your tool kit. Whenever you need a top up its quick and easy.

I like your nails and how you're holding it.......

@ZackR - do you find it reasonably easy (hand pressure) to push grease through the small nozzle on that syringe?

Looks like various cake decorating thingies are available from Amazon (well... if I have to, I guess).
But the one shown above (bellows type) isn't a 1$ item, it's a $15 set.
Other syringe types - $5 to $15 or more, mostly crap quality.

Some reviewer on Amazon mentioned Beds Baths and Beyond for these.

Mixed reviews - likely to split open at bottom.

BTW, I find a cake decorating spatula handy for handling grease.
Sort of a long flexy steel blade tool with a round tip.

Funny - cake decoration and greasing cars - odd match up.

Forgot to mention the black velvet robe in the background, it's also a recommended part of the toolkit.

Yes, the tip is easy enough to snip off to whatever size you like. Its easy to push out the grease.
