Cheap and fasterI promise I am Not trying to be a douche. What’s the adavantage of this over a grease gun?
99 cents storeWhat is it called and where to buy?
I've used a ziplock bag with the corner snipped off - cheap disposable version of the pastry bag idea.
Works OK, but a bit clumsy.
Excactly want i mean.@John copello - thanks for this idea, I've wanted this on the rare occasions that Birf grease fill level gets attention.
This should make it a smooth easy job.
BTW, for me, the grease gun falls short as a solution, because:
Fights me at every step.
- Would have to dedicate a grease gun to molly grease, but I have no other use for molly grease, other than Birf fill.
- It's hard to judge what volume you put in.
- Grease gun - the most hated tool in my garage.
Looses prime just before I'm done, on my back, under the car, messy goop everywhere, every time, seems like.
It's a slippery spring loaded nightmare.
They hate me and I hate them back.
That little cake decorating thingy is made from unobtanium.
Been to 99 Cent Store, Family Dollar, 2 Dollar Trees, and Walmart - nada.
But then how do you know when you've put in enough grease? Too much and I'm sure that wouldn't be good for the seals.Buy some of @NLXTACY cool little zerky ABS delete thingy buy a Pneumatic grease gun and fill them up![]()

Cool idea, here's my version:
Pull out the plunger, pack full of moly, wipe it off, throw into a large ziplock bag with another smaller ziplock bag that contains some nitrile gloves and keep in your tool kit. Whenever you need a top up its quick and easy.

I like your nails and how you're holding it.......
@ZackR - do you find it reasonably easy (hand pressure) to push grease through the small nozzle on that syringe?
