I've been trying to make the time and space to put parts in this dang truck for three years, now, and it just ain't happenin' and I'm ready to lose out on all the untapped potential to know somebody is actually gonna finish it and drive it. I'm the third owner, bought from the second in Bremerton, WA, at the end of 2010, who got it from his uncle. It's been a great truck, but I have too many other more important projects to leave this one sitting doing nothing for me. My loss is somebody else's gain.

Why it's not my current pride and joy and trusty steed for overlanding adventures:
- A little shy of 250k on the body and the stock 2F, still incredibly smooth and happy when the carb is feeling like doing its job properly
- Functioning but ugly desmog done by me ten years ago
- Wonky and slightly crooked Saginaw power steering upgrade that needs a new/rebuilt pump soon at the very least
- A couple honestly earned bumper stickers and a magnet from my one trip all the way to Moab, and probably some orange clay in weird places STILL
- Lots of little, careless dents and scratches to keep somebody who does their own bodywork busy
- Infamous leaky knuckles on the front axle
- An H42F that has strong opinions about 2nd gear when it's cold and a truly used up clutch that somehow still will move the truck (but I wouldn't go more than a few miles without a trailer)
- An interior that's gonna need all the TLC in the world to actually be NICE ever again
- ARB front bumper and 9.5k winch with Trail Tailor recovery points
- OME springs but otherwise stock and clapped out shocks/shackles/bushings/etc.
- Trollhole carburetor that works surprisingly well but seems to have a sticky accelerator pump
- Jim C. desmogged distributor!
- 5 x 33x10.5r15 Dick Cepek tires with maybe 50% tread on ugly primered steel wheels
- The front two of those tires leak enough air to be a problem over 24 hours, where gear oil from knuckles effed my terrible primer job
- Worn out but still somehow driveable brakes on all four corners
- Clean Idaho title in my name, expired tabs as of last August (and I haven't driven except to move junk across the yard since the clutch got too bad last July)
- DIRTY frame and undercarriage with only surface rust (35 years in WA, then only in Idaho before it came back -- only cosmetic rust for now as far as I can tell)
- More I'm forgetting, but nothing horrendous?

So, here's the list of goodies it has waiting for it, and I want to leave with the truck and make somebody's summer:
- Everything to rebuild the knuckles from Kurt
- Everything to 'finish' the OME suspension and freshen the whole thing up -- shocks, shackles, bushings, steering rods and TREs, etc
- Fresh rotors/drums/pads/shoes/hardware for all four brakes
- New clutch and associated crap in the box (in the passenger seat, for TWO YEARS)
- An H55f that is technically brand new but managed to rust on the outside from poor humidity control during storage, with a fresh shifter and knob, ready to install (truck is a 12/85 build date, so it's got the later style drive shafts)
- A pair of junkyard FJ62 axles with 4.11 gears I was gonna build all the new brake/knuckle parts up on, then swap them when I did the suspension refresh
- Rebuilt, Desmogged Jim C. carburetor
- Other odds and ends I can't remember which would be a giant pain in the ass to find some of, now, like the emissions parts which weren't too far gone and I saved

EDITED TO ADD AFTER FILMING THE VIDEO:
- full transfer case rebuild kit to do during the H55f install
- Manifold gasket and hardware to go with the fresh pair of manifolds that just need to be milled flat together

And, here's the video tour:

I'm hoping to move on with my life soon, not squeeze every penny out of my pile. That pile would be worth a LOT if somebody put it all together, though. If somebody wanted to show up with a flatbed and $6000, they'd have a hell of a deal on their hands as far I see it. In terms of a trade, if it runs and drives, I'd also take the right older pickup or van and/or a dual sport or dirt bike that a 6'6" guy fits on in partial or whole trade. I'd also love to know if anybody has something wild like a school bus or a bread van, too, also assuming it runs and drives.

$6k seems like a lot to ask, but then I see stuff that won't even start or run and comes with none of the shiny new parts going for $5k+ at the absolute bottom of the market around here, so there we go. I can probably stand hanging onto it for a while longer if that's not low enough to move it, but those potential trades are the things that there might be a lot of room for haggling with. I'm really curious what runs and drives that somebody would trade for this project. More curious if anyone wants to buy it though.

More pics and info available on request. Best way to reach me is the PMs or commenting here. Thanks for looking, either way!

Maybe not! LOL.

Edited to add the video tour. PMs also on their way shortly.

Also, added parts I remembered:
- T-case rebuild kit
- Manifold gasket/hardware to go with the exhaust and intake spares I was going to get machined

Deal of the day.
