1996 USA Venturcraft Trailblazer off road camper
Selling one of my Trailblazer camper. This camper is white/ white hardtop, blue tent. This trailer is a clean, original Trailblazer. Never been off road. It is very clean. Just put new BFG AT 30x9.50-15 on 15x8 rims.
The factory tested these campers on the Rubicon Trail and at Moab. They closed in 1998. They might have made a couple of dozen.
This camper sets up in about a minute into a queen size bed (real mattress), with a 4x6 stand up dressing room, a real canvas tent (not see thru nylon).
It has 25 cu ft of storage that is accessible either on the trail or in camp (from inside the dressing room)
It weighs in at about 450 lbs empty
It has Dexter 3500 lb Torflex axles (easy to swap hubs/ wheels to match your vehicel)
Compare this to any of the modern off road campers that start at $6000 and go way up from there

I have had my other Trailblazer to Baja twice, to Ouray and all over southern AZ without issues.

This trailer is ready to go ANYWHERE today!
PRICE REDUCED...IT CAMPING TIME FOLKS ASKING $3500
I will deliver for expenses, and I will take PayPal

Hmmm....ad does suggest that if you email me...I will send pics..the files were to large to load...email if you're interested or check pics over at expeditionportal.com or azfj.org or fjcruiserforums.com I try to load them here but it didn't work???

thanks Mike

..the files were to large to load...

Start->Programs->Accessories->Paint

Then click Image->Stretch/Skew.

Reduce the horizontal and vertical by the same percentage.

I think what Romer is trying to say is that a picture is worth a thousand words. Especially when this is your first and only post and you say you'll accept Paypal for a multi-thousand dollar transaction.

Thanks for the pics... I'm thinking about it!!

where are you located?

Thanks,

Thanks for the recovery assist... I am located in Vail...AZ ( just a bit east of Tucson off I-10 ) 85641

Have a GREAT Sunday...we're goin wheelin!

Where does the top lid go when you open it. I assume the tent folds inside the lid area. Neat little set up.

The lid lifts off and sits on the ground ( or as I do, use a alum folding stand and it makes for a nice covered storage area)_, it also comes with a soft tonneau, in case you want to leave the hardtop at home.
For set up..as you face the trailer, standing at the tongue end...you lift the aluminum framed dressing room floor to your left and drop it...you rotate the "bed deck" to your right (leg drops down for support),
you then raise the dressing room support arm, tighten the thumbscrew and voila...you're set (and the bed is already made, so all you do is get in bed (uses reg linens NOT bulky sleeping bags) need to change clothes? you can access your storage area ( 25cu ft) from inside the dressing room ....hmmm want a snack or drink but the weather is lousy...or your in your bvd's? simply reach thru the zippered access to your tongue mounted cooler
We love these trailers..(that's why we're keeping our primary, customized Trailblazer)

any other questions..please ask
for those over 600 miles away, I will help with arrangements to have it crated/ shipped

unabashed bump...
some of you campers HAVE to be tired of sleeping on the ground, long set up times...need extra storage, save $$$ on motels

make me an offer!!

The price is scary compared to what? $8-10K new ones???
If you're a player...make me an offer!

Dizzy, I have concure with the prevouis post about the price. Sorry not trying to flame anybody so please dont take any of this wrong. Im really trying to help.

I am a serouis buyer, and currently shopping for a good used trailer. ( thats why I looked at you ad here, as well as the same ad on another site)

I would simply sugest that you do the same (shop for what's avalible) to compare what's out there and there asking $.

For 8-10K ill buy a new AT from Martyn. your trailer by no means even compares to these type of trailers.

I think a good comparison would be the outlander Sherpa, or closer yet the Tentrax

I can buy a brand new sherpa for $2,980.00 that would be equivilant to what you have. add the tent for $750.00 and IMHO a better all around trailer. and it's BRAND NEW....

Or I could go $3,855.00 and include a few more goodies, and it becomes a Much better trailer.

AGAIN NO FLAME INTENDED HERE. Just trying to be a friend with the Scarey price comment, and help with some info.

Seems to me like you are trying to make a quick buck off the current trailer craze.. Why not post what you paid for it.....I'm willing to bet it was less than $1,500...
