It was good to get out to Uwharrie this weekend. We had a great time meeting you all & seeing some of you from "the farm" again. Wheeling was fun too. Glad I didn't break anything. I definetly need some sliders and skid plates though not to mention 315's.

Ramon, Brian and Eric - It was good talking with you two at the campsite. Thanks for the burgers!

Jason - Thanks for the holesaw

Looking forward to the Tide Ride.

Sam,

I corrected it for you above, I think you meant to say Ramon.

Let me know if you still want the spare tire crossmember.

Ramon, Rawon, $hithead, it's all good - I get called a lot :)

Anybody got Brandon's email address? I think he got video of me coming up that ledge at the bottom of Kodak. Clint, did you get some photos on that rock on SlabPile? I wanted to show on my LPG thread how I was real happy with the "run at any angle".

Also, does anyone remember how long we were on the trails Saturday? I think it was a little over 2hrs all told, but wanted to try and be accurate for gal/hr I'm burning under trail conditions. I figured out I burned about 2.5 gal all day on Sat, which I think will come out to about 1gal/hr. - I'd be happy with that! Full day on one tank is what I was shooting for and that would work out about right if I am correct here.

I got some video and a few pics I'll post up tonight if I can figure out how to download them from my phone.

Enjoyed it fellas. Great weather and company made for a great day.

Sweet 70 series wanna be aka Dodge Raider :D
Group on the trail
and swapped buggies w/ a buddy for the week and hit this spot up for a lil more crawlin on the way home.

note to self (and others) wheeling at 50 psi on A/T's is not near as fun

Thanks for posting those. You know, pics just don't ever do justice, do they?

Man, I hate that I missed out on the trail run. I got home and Jules was sound asleep. :bang:

Good meeting all that were there. Sorry if I didn't catch you and introduce myself. Julie and I are really looking forward to the STR.

Glad we had such a good turnout...those guard rails are heavy for scrawny folks like me. Especially if you slip and they fall on you .

Was also fun to hit the trails and be the only ones on them...don't get that chance very often especially on a Saturday.

I'll echo what the others said; it was great to see everyone again and meet new peeps too!

Can't wait until STR!!!!

Finally got around to transferring the pics and video I took with my phone. Not great but decent for a camera phone.
