1988 FJ62 237K miles

Engine: new plugs, valve adjustment, valve cover, timing cover, rocker cover, oil pan gaskets, front/rear main seals, A/C clutch, idler pulley bearings, water pump, belts, factory reconditioned alternator, all hoses and vacuum lines, radiator cleaned and checked, desmogged, air cleaner, rebuilt PS pump and replaced PS lines. New battery. New 02 sensors.

Transmission: I believe the tranny was rebuilt at around 185K (no documentation), filter and fluid changed, added tranny cooler, replaced trans cooling rubber lines. Shifter rebuilt with new bushings including linkage bushings.

Brakes: new pads/shoes, flushed brake fluid.

Suspension: New Bilstein 4600 shocks, replaced bushings and added greasable shackles.

Steering: TRE are in good condition, steering box rebuilt by West Texas off road.

Electrical: Daniel Stern headlights with complete lighting wire harness with relays. Headlights are awesome. All interior lights have been replaced with dimmable LED bulbs of factory colors. Spare new coolerman fusible link, just in case.

Interior: New OEM dash, new carpet, recovered driver seat bottom with very close matching fabric, factory radio with working electric antenna, new speakers in factory locations. New master window switch assembly.

Exterior: Window out repaint. Front fenders replaced with aftermarket, new front grill, front bumper, light lenses, ceramic window tint, new weatherstripping on doors, rear hatch, and window channels. Many new grommets, and trim pieces.

Tires: new BFG all terrain. Wheels are stock chrome. They look good but aren’t perfect.

Car runs, drives, brakes, shifts very good. A/c is cold. Everything works like rear window washer and rear light comes on when hatch is unlocked. Rear heater blows high/low and gets hot. Rear windows can be slow and one lock gets sticky if not used regularly. Tons of other little parts have been replaced like the horn steering wheel pin.

I have receipts for just about everything I bought. I have the smog stuff and a box or two of various parts and pieces. I have all the parts to rebuild the fusible links just in case. Build thread in my signature.

Price:19K. My plan is to offer it here, then BAT if it doesnt sell.

I have a lift at my house and I would encourage anyone interested to come and lets go over everything.

Looks like a very nice rig. How long have you owned it? Was there much rust before the paint job? Where? How's the paint quality? When was the majority of the work done? Can you show some engine bay and under carriage photos? Thank you. I'm interested. Thinman.

Very sharp - GLWS. A lot of the 'little stuff' and the 'big stuff' has been done on this truck.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this car pulled 25k on BAT if the paint job is well done. All the little things this car has done to it amount to thousands and thousands of dollars and the people looking for these things know it

If your car sells within a day you sold it too cheap! Anyways good luck with the sale. And to the buyer, you got one hell of a deal
