See @Markuson i dont just randomly post things without backing 🖕🏼😘🖕🏼
To be clear I don't think it's absolute trash, but the quirks of it were enough to get me to go back to the stock key shell.. which, while boring, works really well for me.

Yeah. Same. I just wanted something a little stronger since one of mine broke

Although “trash” might me a bit strong, for the downsides and the price, it’s quite disappointing

@TheComedian

Printed one of these just now, thanks for the files.

Yes this is very compact, I do really like it. Haven't installed the guts yet to see how well they fit. Would need to source some of those tiny screws to finish it up. I need to work on the half shown to improve the quality, might try printing it face up with the supports inside.

YotaMD fob on the left, factory on the right.

But the deal killer for me is there's no provision for the manual key. I never carry keys anymore, so no way to realistically deal with that.

@KLF yeah I thought about to integrate the key but in the end I wanted the smallest (for me possible) case and with the key just attached to the keyring where my keys and the keyfob are the whole package snugs ways nicer into my pokets :)

And jepp I would recommend the supports beeing on the inside. The cleanup of the print can be a bit pita due to the details but for a good fit of the electronics and the silicone pad I designed as close as possible to the inside of the oem fob.

With the screws I think 3-48 to 3-56 should be the closest equivalent to M2.5
(Btw I thought about brass inserts for them but they would had made the fob also taller so I tried without and it works well. Also changed the battery twice and screwing it together worked every time fine even if it needs a bit care for sure)

Oh and with the text feauture in Bambu Studio you can also add some personalization to the shell besides the full color choice of filaments you can use - even if I wouldn’t do it in something line silk pla… silk pla doesn’t take a beat… :)

Added two additional pictures since the initial one was more so so hehe

I see nothing on that site for the 200 Series Land Cruiser... is it just me?
Yeah there's no way that will work with my fob. Buttons in the wrong location, wrong shape.

It should work with the 2016-2017 key.

EDIT: Confirmed to work with the 2016-2017 Land Cruiser key, just put it together:

Correct with above post. It comes with all new buttons and reuses the rubber OEM gasket in your keyfob. I called to verify it would work before I ordered.

Gotcha, i just bought a 200 without a spare so ordered a key. We'll see if it works!
Sweet! Just keep in mind it is only a shell. You have to provide your own guts.
