because phone only has one width. You can't make it wider than fullscreen.......................
This is full screen. I was hoping to not have it so wide

That is an issue with your phone/browser then, not with the forum software. Check your browser settings under accessibility.

What phone/browser are you running? Be SURE the softwares are updated. Old stuff causes issues.

Looks great. One of the ways I use the site religiously is to go hit 60 forums and then I would go to the top and sort by date. Wold give me the most recent posts listed in order. I no longer have that option and it appears it lists them in order of created AND commented on. That is nice, but I would still like the option to just put them in order of posting so I can read the latest without regard to any folks have commented on.

Thanks Woody, but comment still stands. Previously I could sort posts with one click. Now even if you use the filter it includes commented on. No biggie, just providing feedback.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy 9 with Google chrome. I can zoom in so it looks normal. But If i don't scroll down straight the screen will go to the right. Small price to pay for an excellent website. He's what it looks like when I don't accidentally scroll to the right or accidentally zoom out.

Correct....actually, one of the plugins that hasn't yet been ported to this software version. Unsure just when it will be handled.

Interesting, because I am still getting emails on PMs that show the full message without logging on MUD, same as before.

Quite good updating, I’m glad this looks so much the old one (which was about perfect, but I understand that the updating is necessary at some point).

But couple problems in this FAQ-thread: 40-series FAQ

Some links gave me this:

...and some this:
1897997

Any idea why?

I've installed so many plugin updates, I forget which do what.

Search has been indexing since 8pm last night, currently on post. 7,127,122....and counting....

OLD links to OLD software (2007 vintage)....they'd need to be updated by the FAQ managers or the Moderators.

One of the major headaches to FAQ creation is keeping up with old links. I tried a wiki plugin many years back, where users could update, but no one was interseted in changing from the old setups. So....here we are....

@woody - I know people are bugging you about bugs but is the majority of the software update complete? I don't want to bring up a bug if it's not done yet. Unlike some on the forum, I CAN read. :)

Ok woody, thanks, good work. :)

The software update was done yesterday morning.

Okay! So I couldn't help but notice on the classified page the sub-classifieds list looks really helter skelter and all over the place. It's not as neat as it was before the update. It's a small thing but I figured I'd let you know.

its not. This XF version fails miserably at subforum organization, have yet to find a plugin that addresses that....but quite sure one will be forthcoming. It's a common gripe on the XF site.

My old eyes are enjoying the upsizing of the default text size. ;)

Overall @woody 4 Stars :cat::cat::cat::cat:

Please excuse me if these have been covered already :

- in the Classifieds section i don't see a dedicated Classifieds search tab or bar feature ?

- The Green FOR SALE & Yellow WANTED icons seem Very close in color , very hard to distinguish between the two , maybe reverting back to a primary pastel vs the new transitional shading is a suggestion

- i really Like the Message and conversation PUSH feature

- i use a desk top , with a wide screen monitor if that makes a difference in your possible reply's ?

- Thanks again Woody to u and your Staff for the Behind The scenes efforts we don't get a chance to see ......

Yes I'm with John on this one too. My M.O. for most mornings was to go to three or four of the Classifieds sections and one-click sort by date to see what was new w/o all the chit-chat. Also just providing feedback here Woody... really love and appreciate what we have here regardless. Thank you!

Cheers,

Search uses a dropdown that allows you to be more specific....default is "everywhere", pick something else to narrow that down

Haven't looked at prefixes, on my list in a few days.

My rapidly aging eyes find this new site much easier to read. Thank you much!!

For me the opposite is true, the older version seemed to have higher contrast between colors and therefore easier to discern. They seem more subdued now or maybe its just me. Hard to design a website though for idiosyncratic variations of old guy eyesight though. I am glad however that the colors at least remain similar to the old version as I have always found the "dark" version of mud easier than most websites to read
