Did Toyota do an update to the programming for the 200 series? I took my 2018 in to my Toyota dealer about a month ago to do the 100K service on it. Since I got it back I've noticed that the seat heater and cooler and the steering wheel heater will still be on when you start the car in the morning. I also noticed that when I turn the heat to high the seat heater comes on. Was this an update? I can't find any info on it. Thanks!

Normally if the dealer did updates it would be on the service order. If those functions have changed, I wonder about other causes. Any water or moisture inside? Original windshield? Sunroof drains ok?

That’s normal for the 2018 LX when the seats are on “auto”. Haven’t seen the persistent wheel heater though. Would be nice in the winter.

my bad.. thought you could do it either via the settings menu or the hidden service menu..
Looks like you can only adjust the set temp

Adjustment of the front seat heater temperature or the ventilator fan speed during automatic operation (individual seat adjustment avail-able)
