These are the last iteration, but can be used on all Cruisers with rear ambulance doors. The earlier version is just little shorter.

Thanks for your affirmation. The Cruiser community is really the best. The quandary I'm faced with is that there are businesses out there motivated by things other than interest for the hobby. Recently, I discovered that an eBay business that has nothing to do with Land Cruisers started selling counterfeit versions of my hoses, even using my photos initially. As a result, I'm trying to be more careful with protecting my IP.

Yes, you should 'Brand' the photos you use with a translucent mark, like many do... I believe ebay will remove postings that violate TOS which includes unauthorized use of proprietary photos.

I get what you're saying conceptually; however, there are substantial differences between the designs of the two pumps. Therefore, it's not straightforward to carry over just one piece of the puzzle.
Although rebuilds don't last long, new pumps usually make it to 100K miles.

True, and realistically I won't be driving for enough years to put another 100,000 miles on my '84 FJ60 - won't happen.

More importantly, if your parts last 100k, nobody will accuse you of planned obsolescence.

On the two FJ60s and one FJ62 I've owned, I started to notice a pattern. Invariably a few parts would need replacement at about 150,000 miles - starter, water pump, and alternator. Not too shabby. No contribution yet to the pattern from my '76 FJ40, it only has 65,000 miles on it

Only owned the FJ62, no FJ60s. I'll be ready to watch for those things in another 30K miles. 65K that's about what my 70 FJ40 has but the first owner installed a 2F in the mid seventies.
know my 76 FJ40 still has it original engine and only 4,500 miles.
I think these must fit all year ambulance door applications. Just like the front door dash/windscreen patches. Toyota catalogs not always very accurate on the smallest detail but knowing how those panels join this reproduction will help watertight your ambulance door edge.
