So Joel is totally out of the picture now? When did this happen?

Well, I'd never ever gotten an email or phone response from duiser in regards to my missing order... so I went to Jonesy's site and called the number listed, Joel answered and said he sold duiser. I suppose that makes sense, if you search this site you won't find any recent 'mud messages on here from either duiser or Jonesy.

I would't say Joel is 'out of the picture' but I think Jonesy is now concentrating on custom build/restorations. Too bad, because he seemed like an excellent vendor and great guy for the cruiser community prior to selling the company.

I ordered a set from the Duiser website. I received an email order confirmation and the shipment arrived within one week. No problems.

I do think the bolts shipped are a little short. I ordered some 12x1.25x50mm grade 10.9 bolts separately.

Is the bolt length due to having to go over the front bumper? If so what bumper are you running?

I have an ARB bull-bar bumper up front. I also have the Slee AC dryer guard on the DS. So, I definitely need longer bolts on the DS.

But even on the passenger side, the rear bolt was just barely biting. I'd hate to have a recovery point dependent on just the first 4-5 threads of the bolt. I think the bolts shipped are 35 or 40mm. I bought a set of 50mm bolts. They were just over a buck each. No big deal. I'd rather be safe.

There's a company in Australia that makes something similar called Roadsafe. I looked to import some before I got the URB'S from Duiser. They're about $135 a pair. Shipping killed it for me though. I believe it was around $100 to ship.

FWIW, I ordered a set of these from Mark's 4WD in Australia. It was something like $122 for the brackets and then $70ish to ship. However, keep in mind that those prices are in Australian dollars, not US dollars. The US dollar is very, very strong right now so it actually came out to be a little less than $135 to my doorstep (4 business day shipping from Australia).

Mine finally came! After months! : )

That's promising. I've been putting off buying some. I emailed Duiser, if they don't get back to me quick, I guess I'll just order from AUS

quick question regarding Duiser URBs - is there any preference with the mounting orientation of the tabs? i.e. inside vs. outside? I mounted mine with tabs facing inside since part of my ARB bumper interferes with them the other way.

also the 10.9 bolts supplied with my URBs did not match the threading for my frame fyi, so I used the stock bolts which appeared to have more than enough depth to be secure. will consider finding a different set of 10.9s

I faced mine out for better clearance but I dont think it matters
