Underbody cover

Hi guys I am wondering if anyone can tell me why this is so cheap. I have been looking for the underbody cover for my 2000 lc because my mechanic forgot to put it back on and they have all been like 400 dollars but I found this and it’s $26. Google the part number, it's just the oil filter cover. Did you mechanic throw it away? Wouldn't they be on the hook for the cost?

Ok thanks. Yeah this mechanic is terrible never going back too many problems. I didn’t realize the mechanic forgot the panel until now and it’s been 2 months since I took it to him. He also forgot the inside wheel mud fender covers.
