Rage body filler did not cure, I have read other posts, I know I need to scrape it off, it is kind of hard, but 3 days later I can still push my finger into it, does not stick to my finger, but I know will not sand.

So what do I do, it is over other filler I had sanded and was filling a few low spots. Once scraped off do I need to clean the area with something before a scuff and try again.

I am fairly new to body work, I did not put enough hardener in, coupled with 75 degrees when I started to mix, huge cold front really blew through and within a few minutes the win dropped it down to low 60's by the time I spread it.

I found a wire wheel works wonders on body filler, however there is little control on how deep it goes. In my case I wanted it all off. So, if you don't mind starting all over with filler thats an option.

cjgoode, Sounds like a bad tube of hardener or you might have not mixed the tube well enough before adding to filler.

So, yes clean it off, sand back down, I would use a cleaner and then re apply the filler.

You might want to get a new tube of hardener, but if not, make sure you knead the hardener tube before using. Follow Evercoat instructions, just because you add more hardener, it wont make it set faster...

Make sure you don't put in too much hardener next time. As a rule of thumb, spread out a 4" circle of filler and lay an even strip of hardener from end to end of the circle. It should easily cure with temps of the 60's.

That's true if it is all cured. With the difference in consistency, I'm guessing you could mostly take off just the uncured (softer) filler and you'd feel when you were getting into the cured stuff and could back off.
