Saw a awesome looking 40 today in Piedmont on 86 heading toward 85. Mustard yellow with a white top, possibly soa but definitely lifted.

Auto zone has gunk brake clean 2 for 6! About a buck off per can.

Remember the CNC tube bender that was posted about a month ago? Here's the desktop version (wire bender). If you go to Pensa's website, they have the parts list and instructions on how to build your own. Pretty neat.

Help please. I am repatriating on 24 Oct so starting to make plans. I am going to some music in Asheville on the 26th and 27th and I thought I remembered a Parkway Ride or at least a camping that weekend up in the Shining Rock but I'm not seeing it here on Mud.
Is that still on and if so what thread?
Or has the universe shifted again?

Yes still on. Just been swamped. Should have details this week. But we will be camping both friday and sat night 26-28 up at black balsam. Also taking a ride Sat to the Pisgah inn for lunch.

Count me in.
I just saw the thread in the stickies.
My kids used to call it Bill-itis. I call it pixies.
I'm (was) an engineer, maybe we can just call it tunnel vision ;).

My dad just bought a 2012 tundra with the big v8. I think it is 2wd though. Quadcab and loaded to boot. Talked them down to 25k.

watch it live (1pm today IIRC)... [edit there is a countdown timer on the live page linked below, so looks like shortly after 1pm)

this guy is going to drop almost 23 miles from the edge of space and parachute back to earth. He's hoping to break the sound barrier on the way down (700mph!)

dangit!
Today's launch has been aborted at 11:42hrs MDT due to wind gusts making an attempt too risky. There is a second backup balloon but the weather may not be favourable for a launch tomorrow (10/10).

Had to throw 500 clams into my dd today. New radiator and water pump.

Pretty cool seeing it pulled by a tundra.

Gee I am on two sides on that one, I love Toyota products and yes it's cool seeing it pulled by the Tundra. But somehow it does not seem right at the same time the last trip of our crowning glory in space the Shuttle should have been towed by american iron, yeah I know even American iron has a bunch of outsourced parts from the orient, even the shuttle does. But Still:frown::frown:
