Mark your calendars.

Details
*****************************************************************************************************************

I will be arriving around 4-5 on friday at Kens place to set up and get smoking. Those that want to come, hangout, help me, watch, or just want to drink some beer are welcome. There are plenty of places to camp on the farm. I think Ken said he had 300 Acres. There will be a beerpong tournament friday night for those that are staying the night.

Saturday around 2pm we will officially get things started. I'm sure we will have all kinds of things going on. Families are welcome. I will try to figure out some fun things for the kids.

Around 5 we will start serving BBQ. I have yet to decide on what I'm going to smoke, depending on the number of people it will either be a whole hog or Boston Butts like last year.

Plan on paying around $7 each for the meal. Trust me if you have not had my BBQ it's well worth it. Any money left over will go back into the club funds. This will include soft drinks and tea. If you have something else in mind as far a drinks are concerned your on your own. I should have a couple big coolers for people to use.

Ken is has rented a port-a-jon for the weekend. Hopefully this will keep us out of the house. The club has purchased a big tent that should hold 50 or so people and Ken has a big covered area that we can use incase of rain.

Camping Sat night is also allowed for those of you who don't want to drive home that night. But I have nothing planned for it as I have to be in Atlanta Sunday morning.

This is one of our big gathering we have each year. This is not an event to be missed.

Please respond in the thread in the UC section of IH8MUD.com if your coming and how many or e-mail me @ marshall@828rugs.com

We have invited all TLCA members to come join us. So if you know someone who is not a member of UC but involved in TLCA please let them know. We can always convert them into a UC fan.

Looking forward to it.

Kens place is out in Pickens. I will post the directions sometime this week.

Going to try to make this. It will be the weekend after I get back to Florida from SC but I am trying to get Mike to drive up and get his newly acquired 40 from Hard40.

Also, I hear rumors there may more Rum Cake at this shindig!

Captain,

I know it will be a lot of road miles but we sure hope you and Mike can make it back to Sunset for the 'Big Pig in the Sky'!! Regardless, Ken and I hope to see you and your family on Lake Jocassee over the 4th of July holiday.

How many rum cakes do you think I need to bake?

Where's the Party

Jon,
We are a few miles across the mountain from the intersection of US 178 and SC 11 in the county of Pickens, South Carolina. PM me and I will give you exact directions plus Lat/Long.
Looking forward to seeing you: we have plenty of private camping space on 7 acres of mowed grass plus 300 more acres if you really need elbow room.
