Ali and I had a GREAT time also! Ken and Cee Cee have a beautiful place. To explain Marshall's puppy pic a bit Ali and I rescued two puppies out of the middle of the road not far from Ken and Cee Cee's house. Cee Cee was nice enough to help us clean the two buggers up. The are as cute as can be. Ali and I are debating if we want to adopt them out to a good home or if we (read Ali) want to keep them. If you know anyone who wants two puppies let me know. They look to be mostly lab with a little of something else mixed in. They are going to be examined by a vet and get their shots tomorrow (Sunday).

Great BBQ thanks to TRoll, Alan. I really enjoyed all the folks there and a special thanks to Ken and CC for having us over at your beautiful property.

BBQ Master & Weather Predictor

Congratulations to Marshall for preparing some awesome BBQ Butts but most of all for delaying the thunderstorms by 24 hours! :cool: It's raining here at 3PM on Sunday.

We had perfect weather for the event yesterday and a wonderful group of folks. Almost half of UC membership attended the annual BBQ. Thanks to all of you who traveled from near and far to join in the fellowship. It was especially nice to meet several new ladies. Ken and I are honored to have hosted the '3rd Annual Big Pig in the Sky' event!!

Special appreciation to Gehn and Caroline for their two day commitment in making the event a success. They threw themselves into necessary chores from Friday afternoon until the meal was served on Saturday. Also, thank you to all who helped break down last night.

thanks Ken and CC for hosting us at your beautiful home! The bqq was amazing, as usual and it was great to see everyone especially those who made it from FL, ATL and NC!

PS: I think I left a small blue coleman cooler up there...
 
Back home in Florida

We got an early start today (4:25 AM on the road) and made it back to WPB by 3:25. 11 hours with gas stops and a breakfast stop.

Had a great time. Ken and CC, you guys have a great place. :cheers:

Is the price you adopting the two pups from us? They received their first shots today and are on de-worming meds. Besides that they checked out pretty well for two dogs picked up from the road side. Any takers?!?!?!?
 
Thanks everybody! wish I could have gotten there earlier....yall south carolina members sure do make it hard driving BACK to Atlanta.
