So are we ever going to have another pickup? If not I'm going to call them and tell them we are out. Sad as we have been doing this for at least 10 years. That section of road going into Jones Gap state park deserves someone that is going to keep it clean.

I'm happy to help and have picked up this section several times in the past. I just can't make it on Saturday as I work every Saturday in Seneca. Even though it is inconvenient for others, a Sunday or Monday work best for me.

Sundays work best for me but no F-mart dogs on Sunday. But that I can live without.

I really enjoyed walking down that road along the stream talking about cruisers with friends for about an hr. It was always nice hanging out with everyone. Plus it always made you feel good when people would slow down and tell you thanks.

Plus I always had Becca and the kids meet me out there afterwards and we would go hiking up Jones Gap.

About 10 minutes away, maybe 15. Not too far.

I'm going to try to make the Annual for a bit, but toss in a clean-up and that gets to be too much time away from work.

I think i'm free that saturday the 20th; plus then the Fmart will be open. I'll have to check on the 21st, but i'm pretty sure i have something going on.

Sounds good. Sat August 20th at 10am it is. For those that don't know we meet at the F-mart. It is off hwy 11/276 at the road that goes to Jones Gap State Park. We have about 2 miles on that road to cleanup. With two groups working from opposite ends we usually get it done in an hr or so.

I have all the orange vests and trash bags. I don't have the pickets though. Does anyone know who has them?

im pretty sure the wife will be in NY with the daughter next sunday but if she's not i'll get her to watch the little guy and i'll head up there. I don't want to take a 3 yr old road side!
