Looking at some of the new diesel engines, I was reminded that while wating for my exhaust to get repaired a couple months ago, the shop owner, a weekend racer, recommended a twin turbo when I mentioned turboing my 3B. I think this is just more tech than I need to or can deal with, but it sounded like a good idea--you could get more power off throttle for wheeling, but still have the higher end for freeway cruising. Anybody have thoughts? What would such a design look like?

Nice settup and probably works almost as good or better than a variable vane turbo like on the Ford 6.0L.

X2 .. but the issue is IMOP what kind of really small turbo you can use for low end boost .. ?

and for sure good oil and oil pump to keep fine 2 turbos. Oil Cooler, and keep out river crossing.

But in overal .. I thought is a great idea.

its nice to see different ideas but, when you add up the time to source the turbos, fabricate a manifold and exhaust run your oil lines and fine tune everything, plus the expense of parts :wastegates blow off valves pyrometers maybe new air box, would you need valves to stop flow in one turbo to maximize the other, etc etc. i think the cost compared to a bigger motor might be something to consider.
