I don't think the IFS rotors will fit on SFA trucks or land cruisers.
The IFS rotor has longer hat. That is if the calipers will even bolt up.
 
I can't imagine anyone wanting more stopping power(up front) than 4Runner calipers on a Cruiser. Are you wanting this because current solutions are letting you down in the braking department, or just for the wow-factor?

Well I know that 1986 IFS hubs can be used on earlier trucks using a spacer to set the rotor back to line up. The main concern is do the calipers bolt onto the knuckle.
My truck weights 7000 lbs and needs bigger brakes do to fading on big down hills.
 
a 7000LB FJ40? Sure you don't mean kg? I gotta see a picture of this.

Judging from the lack of meaningful responses, it sounds to me as if you are in unchartered waters. Goto a well-stocked auto parts store and have them set both calipers on the counter 4 U 2 compare.

A spacer will allow you to bolt the older cruiser rotors to the IFS hubs, but not the other way around. As I said before the IFS rotors have longer hats. Other words the distance between the braking disc and the mounting surface is longer.
Try posting in the truck section ,you will get better response there.

The 40 is actually normal weight, trona however I heard through the grapevine is Swahili for "fat bastard".

The 2000 Tundra brakes were sub par for a MUCH lighter truck. They went to much bigger brakes in the 2005 models and the like.

I only know this as I just did the upgrade on my 2000 tundra last week.

to options I am looking at is to 1996 ifs hubs that will help accommodate the taller hat. Combine that with an adapter plate to allow the wider bolt pattern on the tundra caliper to fit on the narrower bolt pattern SA Knuckle and any distance irregularities between the rotor and the caliper.
The tundra calipers were upgaded to 225 mm from 199 mm I will use the bigger one. Or try too.

How it adds up 37 gals of fuel, 18 gals of water, 2 deep cycle 6volt golf cart bats, 1 optima, 383V8, NV4500, Orion, Fj60 FF, 12000lb winch, ARB fridge, roof top tent, and too many radios.

Have you looked into something like the Man-a-Fre high performance kit? TLC puts some 6 piston calipers and huge rotors on the Icon. Maybe they can help you.

Really? I sure can. Larger heavier tires really reduce braking effectiveness. Add a lot of vehicle weight... you can never have too much brake :)

still not sure how you come up with 7000LB. Have you had it weighed?

Per Curb weight - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia 'curb weight' is defined as "the total weight of a vehicle with standard equipment, all necessary operating consumables (e.g. motor oil and coolant), a full tank of fuel, while not loaded with either passengers or cargo."

curb weight: 3263LB per FJ40 Specs
gas: 37-18.5 gal (stock capacity)=18.5 gal X 6LB/gal=110LB
water: 18gal X 8.3 LB/gal= 150 LB
2 batteries: ~100LB
engine: -200LB from stock 2F
battery, drivetrain: negligible difference, if any
winch: ~200LB

So, you have 3623 LB plus the fridge, tent and radios. No way they add up to 3377 LB. If the mid 90's 4Runner caliper with (4) 40mm pistons won't stop your ~4000LB truck you got other problems like a bad booster, mastercylinder, seized caliper pistons/wheel cylinders, pad contamination, etc
 
Did I see Knuckles somewhere that you can bolt 2 calipers to??
The strongest brake I had in my 40 was a non-US drum brake.

The Icon doesn't use anything Toyota except for the frame and that is it. The axles are either Dana 60 or 44 based.
