I know we have had this discussion before but I was watching extreme 4x4 today and they had a bender on there. I checked it out online it sits on your floor and is lightweights and portable. 499.00 plus shipping comes with 1 size die an extra die is like another 200. But they made their whole roll cage shock mounts and fender protection with it. Pretty sweet, I was gonna see if maybe some of you would be interested in going in on it like before.

i saw that on extreme 4x4 also, that girls shirt keeps getting tighter and tighter. $500 is not to bad, they said on the show it was $800.

Yeah I know they said 800 but I went and checked it out to see and it says 499 on the website I dont know if the price came down since then or what. Maybe they bought some extra dies and didnt mention it or something I dont know. But a 1 1/2" die and you could do about anything you want because thats a good size.

The bottom 2 will cost just as much if not more after you buy dies and you have to bust your ass to bend the s***. I'd prefer the hydraulic so I can drink a cold beer while bending the steel.

I bought a lincon electric, cost me 370 and it can weld 1/4" steel it's so much smoother and much nicer than the other welder and you can run gas with it if you like...........

Can't wait to try that welder out on that tire rack I'm building. I'm good for some money or some wire or something in exchange for the usage if I dont buy a bender.

??? may be a pos?

FYI I think you can fill with sand to help prevent flattening of tube

the cheap bastard in me says go for it.......... but I have learned painfully since working on the cruiser the past few years; as everyone says you get what you pay for........... it is worth it to pay a little extra for quality

rudy, I think I am going to do a set-p like yours for a tire carrier in the back and get rid of the stock carrier, with that 34" spare hanging out the side it catches everything.........

I don't know if it is the same girl, but we met one from that show up at GSMTR last month. Looked pretty good......... However, I was camping with a bunch river rats the 5 preceeding days.

I imagine just about any femine form would look rather enticing after 5 days up in dem dere hills.............

Jim it probably was her theres a thread about her in chit chat she has a 60 or 62 that is supposed to be pretty stout. And she was at lone star cruiser round up so gsmtr wouldnt be a stretch.
Virgo I'll help you build something man we might be able to use the back part of the roll bar to come off of and hold the tire behind the seat it could be pretty sweet.

That is the show. I didn't see the episode they are referring
to but the girl at GSMTR is the one on that show.
I hadn't been camping for 5 days and she looked fine to me. ;)
Dang, looks great and can weld. A Cruiser Goddess?
