View attachment 1304195 View attachment 1304194 After I stopped working in the Harley Davidson, fix them as the break, circuit, I sold my double stack expensive tool holder and now use drawers once used to hold drawings from a company called Kewaunee in Statesville.
My basement is my workshop. I have one draw dedicated for special tools.
Trying to keep this thread more tooling. LOL

You call that a knive??? Well I guess you would call it a lot of knives.

Yeah I gave my best friend my snap on tool chest when I left LA.

My tool chest these days is this thing

Those are 4 of the bolt holders from the hardware department at Lowes. They can hold an incredible amount of weight in each draw and cost me all of $100 for all of them. I'll be building a base for them soon so they can roll also.

Looking forward to a review!

What years does that tool cover? All OBD2 VAG cars (to current) or some subset?

It says all 96-current, i'm not so sure about the newest ones out there but it should do the 05 at the very least.

I just can't wait to hook it up to my Bugatti or Skoda Yeti

Just ordered a Jackson BH3 hood, $289 shipped with Amazon Prime!

There are wrenches that break and wrenches that explode. I never did find all the pieces to this one yesterday.

Time to start your Amazon Wish List.

Who makes it so I know what to avoid.

That was a Craftsman which I stopped using as a torque wrench years ago because I didn't believe in it and was only using as a breaker bar, which it appears to have succeeded at.

It's just one of those things ya know? I really feel ~$300 for something nice that I'll keep forever isn't that bad a price.

Now rings and wedding dresses... THOSE are overpriced!!

So you're saying you don't keep wedding rings forever. :D

My Tungsten Carbide ring cost $19.99 on Amazon and I got it two day shipping.

Sometimes a tool is a matter of a specific need. You guys that build or otherwise play with GM motors know the old trick of driving the oil pump on a SBC with a drill to pre lube the motor. No such luck with an LSX series motor. I've used a hand pump in the past but wanted something better, easier. I saw this in a magazine article on line some time ago and built one for myself.

It has a SBC oil pump mounted under the lid, driven with a common driver shaft for the same oil pump.

Drilled out a second drain plug and tapped it for 1/8 pipe
