I have a 1995 KZJ89 Prado and want to replace the stock headlights. I was looking through old threads and settled on getting the Trucklite 37450C's. I saw conflicting information on reversed polarities and such and just wanted to make sure they are actually compatible and/or if they need an adapter/harness. My electrical knowledge is not the best so any tips help, and also maybe recommendations for other headlights.

They will work, but you will need an adapter harness like this because of the switched ground. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07M6W1PMK?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1

Interested whether you went through with the new headlights and how they’re working. Thank you.

I’m running the Truck Lite 27009 with LED bulbs in them. These retain the stock look in a glass housing and add great visibility. Cut off is exactly where it should be. I’m also using an H4 wiring harness.

I drive to work at O’dark thirty and am routinely dodging Bambi’s relatives. Great visibility is paramount.
