Saturday Feb.2 we are going to remove the Transmission, clutch, transfere case, rear tires and brake drums on the SFWDA 5 ton dump. We will schedule another weekend to put it all back together after I get the T-case fixed and the other parts. We will need several people to help.

Roger,
I checked with the boss and she does not have anything scheduled for the 2nd, so I am in (with appropriate caveats). If you don't mind, I will check with a couple of guys from work (Jeep & LR drivers) that may be interested in helping too.

I'll let you know Roger after this weekend. Must talk to the boss who is extremely pregu right now:doh:

X2

(Ha! How many times could someone add 'multipliers' to this statement?!)

I"ll come help,not that I know allot

Roger,
What time do you want to get started on Saturday? Do you have all the tools and supplies that are needed or should we bring certain items? Any other requirements?

I though we would start around 9 or 10 since you all have to travel . Should have all the tools we need unless you have a big truck transmission jack, I have one that goes on a floor jack that should reach.
Roger

Nothing that massive in my tool collection. The transmission adapter that you have for your floor jack must be a lot stouter than the one I have for my floor jack, because the one I have is marginal for something small like a Cruiser tranny & would be completely over matched for a dump truck tranny.

I very well might make that as well. And, drum roll, weather permiting, may drive the cruiser
OK - I am an idiot. I am sure this needs no qualifier but here it is anyway: My wife's birthday. I won't make it.

Guess I don't need to pick up your parts from Jonathan on Friday, I'll get them at the Monday night meeting in Nashville.

Used the power washer for about 2 hours this evening on the filthy beast, hope to get it finished tomorrow so it is ready for Saturday.

Roger, I was hoping to make it up this weekend, but my son has an all day:crybaby: wrestling tournament at Baylor...

Roger,
Thanks for lunch, the opportunity to help and the pleasure of your company.

Todd / Marius,
It was great working and spending time with you too.

Have a great weekend.

I would like to thank Todd ,Larry and Marius for there help. We got the truck tore down, so I can get parts ordered. I'll schedule another work day when we are ready to put it back together.

Sorry for not making it......still in Bowling Green KY for a trial:o

Get to come home this coming Friday-finally:rolleyes:
