Can anyone see any red flags on this one? I know the price is a little on the high side, but it looks clean.

This seller has several other 80’s for sale and they always post Carfax as well as those engine pics. I suspect they’re trying to hide something on this one. Ask for the Carfax...

Little things: floor mats are wrong. Should have 40th Anniversary logo embroidered. These are NLA and sell for $500+ when offered.

Bumpers look color-matched to me...but may be my screen. Should be same dark grey as side trim.

Didn’t read. Is interior original or recover? Steering wheel has a cover.

Last thing is to make sure axel code is for a locked rig. There were some 80s being sold 10 years ago with the locker dial added but no lockers.

If it’s an honest truck, I’d say it’s high-side ballpark.

Can you tell me about the axle code? Where would the seller find it? How do I verify that there are in-fact lockers?

Have you seen it in person? As long as you're happy with it, all that matters. Make sure it drives/shifts correctly and no head gasket issues..

I wish I could, but it’s far too far away.

They said it has no leaks, and no known/noticeable mechanical issues

Don't want to hijack this thread, but have been wanting to know more about this dealer for close to a year. They always have a huge selection of 80 series vehicles on hand between the $15k-20k range that look pretty darn good. Has anyone had experience with this seller they can share on here or PM me if more appropriate to do so off-line. They are in PA outside Philly and an ebay seller. Thanks for your input.

The catalytic converter in the exhaust 95-97 had 2.

As far as being sprayed underneath, look at the front axle vs. the control arm.

If anything I'd say it got a major powerwash underneath (makes it tricky to spot any leaks). People like to powerwash undercarriage/engine bay to hide leaks and make them appear super clean. I'd think around 12-13k would be fair on this one considering the higher mileage. But what I think and what they sell for are often different these days.
