Well it’s that time again, I figured we could get a little bit of an earlier start this month on setting everything up for February. If I recall correctly this meeting should be in the Winston area. Everyone feel free to suggest meeting locations, I’ll make a poll after some ideas are fielded.

(And I’ll be driving an 80)

Last two were Winston and HP. Let's try and do something GSO to help the Madison crew out a bit.

We're in. and looking forward to seeing the 80. Even though I know it well already. :)

As far as suggestions Burger Warfare was pretty cool the last time we did it.

You know this group isnt good with decisions :grinpimp: so try to throw out a suggestion if you post up the thread

Angelas Ale house in kernersville was pretty good and right in the middle. There is the loop grill in kville ive never tried but burgers n pizzas with tues kids meal specials on their site. Not sure on parking.

Greensboro seems to have lots of good options with poor parking or menu/svc issues but surely we can find a good option to bounce between.


Anderson, You get the tornado damaged 80? :)

Parking at the Loop is not bad at all. Worst case it's right next to Target so there is ample room for a good photo. Agreed the folks at Angela's were very happy to have us and I think we are their biggest single crowd to date.

I'd also toss in a few more for Kerneresville as both Mexican places are solid with Palenque and Don Juans. The manager at Don Juans offered up their party room for us once before. Park at Don Juans is not great and especially on Taco Tuesday but there is a little ice cream shop across the street that's empy and we could use.

Another option in K-Vegas with a room is Amalfi's pizza. Very good food as well. The only drawback is the room requires a deposit to hold and I'm not sure I wanna risk just showing up and not having full access to it. But if there interest is there Ted or I can swing by and make some arrangements.
 
Well Greensboro it is, that’s fine by me. I have no experience with Greensboro at all so I’m pretty useless with suggestions there.

@jfz80 I was gonna check that 80 out but it sold, I ended up with Billy’s 80.
 
Makes me wish my 60 was a stock motor - I'd like to see someone local buy it.
 
I'm hoping to make Feb's meeting. K-ville works for me. GSO is a maybe, but if it works better for the group then I'm on board with that as well.

Also, feel free to include @jtmosca in the list the next time a meeting thread is being posted so that I'll see an alert pop up.

We decided to do a true Greensboro location because its been a while since we have.
It sounds like Burger Warfare has positive reviews from club members so that sounds like a plan!

@40LandCruising I'd also suggest calling ahead once we get a decent headcount. They will set aside some space at the big table for us. :beer:

I'll try and make it out. I really like burger warfare.
And yes, I have a hard time keeping a Cruiser around. I am too picky in a lot of ways but champagne taste and a beer budget keep me bound up.
E was right. My heart wasn't in the 80. I saved it because I found it and it needed saving. Started to build but longed for my old 60 and 62 again so I figured why pour money into a build that wasn't ultimately what I want. Plus Anderson, you needed a Cruiser and I was glad to hook you up with what I felt was a solid truck. Bottom line is I am staying in the club and the 80 is too.
I WILL be back in hopefully a 62 in the future. It may take a bit. This teenage driver and other family obligations that are breaking me up come first. I have a true fire inside for these trucks and an empty hole inside that will need to be filled when the timing is right.
