Hi friends,
A lot has been happening over here, whether I have been ready or not! As some of you know, I've been waiting for a surgery to get me back on track. Well, we finally have a date- October 18th. I can't describe how happy we are as it's been a long time coming. I was planning to wait until after I was rehabbed to run a sale or group buy, but the timing is much better now due to a few factors. I have a new CNC manufacturer that has been making beautiful parts and takes the heavy lifting off my plate. Also, Sam and Beatrice Craven of OutdoorX4 magazine did a fabulous write up of an Alpha System in the latest issue (issue 16). In addition to that, I will be displaying a custom system at SEMA this November in an exciting build Greg Henderson is doing for myTop, a company that makes very cool powered Jeep tops. I can't say much about the build other than the fact that it will be very original and very cool. All of this has come to a head and I also have a list of folks that have been waiting for the sale, so we're charging ahead.

As of now all TrekboxX products are 10% off through October 17th. I am hoping to avoid any large lead times due to my surgery by having any outsourced components being worked on during that time. Lead times normally run 6-8 weeks from order to shipping, and can go longer depending on order volume. I basically take the same care with each system whether we are backlogged or not. So, if you are interested in a system and are in any kind of hurry you won't want to wait until October 17 to place your order. Either way, I make myself totally available to any customers and am transparent about the process and lead times.

You can view the full article from OutdoorX4 HERE.

Please stop by my website at www.trekboxx.com. I've updated the site with new photos, some articles on drawer systems, and some new products. More to come.

Thank you all for your kind words and support!

David

David - I assume you meant to write "10% off" vs. "10%".

I use the rear compartment for a lot of things, so am not in the market, but your systems looks and appears to function well for a lot of people.

GLWS!

I wrote the review of his system for OutdoorX4 and just finished a 3 week overland trip. Between the trekboxx and a hardshell tent it increased our enjoyment quite a bit. Getting to a destination and not having to unpack ANYTHING and being about to immediately enjoy things is just priceless.

Looking great David!! Any pictures of a Bravo system installed (in a LC)? How bout weight of the complete system?

I actually have not built a Bravo since the re-design. I actually stopped offering them a while back because they were not selling well. The Alpha got all of the attention. I am offering them again because it was essentially no cost: the re-design for the Alpha did all of the work. The right side drawer is the same as the Alpha, and the left side is basically a mirror of that except slide placement. The only pictures I have are of the old version 1 system. This system below is also the system that make helped the decision to fully assemble the systems myself prior to shipping. The install on this particular Bravo went awry. The outboard seat mount plates were not removed and therefore the entire system is bowed left to right. The slides were installed upside down and too far out. I'm not trying to throw anyone under the bus, but I found it in everyone's best interest to do the final assembly myself. I just heard from this customer the other day. He related he loves the system and hasn't found the need to take apart the system to fix it. I guess it's a testament to the strength of the system. If you look at the bow in the entire system- that takes a ton of force. He said everything is working perfectly!

Just got my copy of issue 16 in the mail. Nice job Sam! Online is great, but there's nothing like a crisp magazine to flip through- back to front, of course :)

I would like to officially introduce you guys to my wife, Carrie. She has been and will be helping out a lot on the business end over here. I try to answer phone and email inquiries personally, but due to my injury sometimes I'm a bit too medicated to make much sense! So, you may talk to her sometimes if you call or email. She has helped all along with everything from counting hardware to photo shoots to final assembly and shipping. She is the primary driver of our LC now and uses the system day in and day out. She is also a great person to talk to if your CFO's need any convincing! She was pretty much against the whole drawer idea in the beginning, but being the great wife she is she kept her doubt to herself. She admitted many times how having a trekboxx system in the back has made life so much easier. She's actually writing an article about the system from her point of view. She should be finished soon and i will post it up for you guys.

Hey guys - we're in the final week of the sale! The sale will not be extended, so get your orders in before they cut my leg off...

I'm sure Rob will post some amazing photos of his system, but here is a teaser of his System Alpha with the new Zulu Golf drawer.

Can I see some pics of that Zulu golf drawer? Really piqued my interest. It would be great to be able to store my clubs somewhere they couldn't be seen.

He is using the NATO phonetic alphabet (alpha, bravo, charlie, delta, etc.) to name his products I don't think they're actually for storing clubs. He already has alpha, bravo, and sierra systems. It's just a better method than calling them drawer system 1, drawer system 2, etc...

Correct. The Zulu drawers were intended to be an additional module that could also be used as a generic drawer for other applications, hence the name Zulu, like Zulu (universal) time. The G in Golf stands for gun, because Rob said he wanted a shallow drawer there to occasionally carry stuff like that.

Drawer is roughly 34x16.5x4" internal dimensions.

Custom Alpha for Project Pathkiller is in! See it at SEMA this November. Custom rod holders filled with goodness donated by The Fly Shop. This will be an awesome build, something never done before. All will be revealed at the show.
