I have had the tran oil changes 4 months ago by dealer the level is good . Today I down shifted to 3rd and once back to 4th is not shifting holding in 3rd does any body else have had this problem or any idea. Thanks

How many miles do you have? I had this happen to my FJ transmission, would shutter and not shift from 3rd to 4th, had the trans replaced under warranty.

today Push the shifter from drive(D) to 4th which you actually push the it to the left and than when push the shifter back to (D) it just doesn't want to shift there is no viberation no light is on everything just works fine

3 hours later GX shifting gears like nothing was wrong with it some one suggested may be it got over heated so after start working like normal again I drove it for one hour real hard with out side temp showing over 100 thankfully no problem .I guess something did happen when I manually down shifted now that I think of it in past it has done it few second longer but not like today that it was not shifting at all .may be these GXs are only good for 90000 miles
I have 150k and no issues.
